James Hill is considered by many to be the foremost ukulele player in the world! Additionally, he is the ultimate ukulele educator co-authoring the series "Ukulele In The Class Room". James is sought after for his incredible performance skills, his intense interest in teaching others and his affable personality.
Putting the “eh” in “ukulele” since he was a wee keiki, James is considered a “rare peer” of Hawaii’s premier `ukulelists with a “world-class command of the instrument” (John Berger, Honolulu Star-Bulletin) who’s latest CD, A Flying Leap, is a “tour de force” mix of jazz, classical and folk influences (Yvonne Zacharias, Vancouver Sun). James, “one of the world's top composers for the [ukulele] and probably the best player on the planet” (Rafe Mair, 600AM Vancouver), has delighted audiences across Canada and around the world with a “beautiful, humorous and virtuosic” style all his own (David Kidney, Green Man Review).
