Camp FAQ's What do I need to bring?
You just need yourself and your instrument. A recorder and/or camera and a music stand can be helpful.
Is lodging provided?
No, but we do have a host/festival hotel – the Holiday Inn Select
(Galleria) on I-635. All activities except the Thursday night jam will
be at the hotel. We have a block of rooms at a special rate of $69 per
night. YOU MUSTBOOK YOUR OWN ROOM. There are many other nearby accommodations. Most are approximately 5-10 minutes away. Are meals provided?
Lunch on Friday and Saturday and the Dinner Banquet/Concert Dinner are included in the full registration fee. This is required to
meet the hotel contractual agreement. Vegetarian option is available.
There is Registration information on the registration page to purchase your
Festival packet.
Thursday night - We are making plans for a special event. Details to come.
Friday night Open Mic and Concert at 7 PM – Dinner on your own. Open mic and jam starts at 7 PM til 11 PM in the hotel banquet room. There will be a Cash Bar.
Saturday night Concert & Dinner - 6:30 PM
- Special Barbecue Dinner and Concert in the hotel banquet room. The
concert and dinner is included in your student packet. Spouse Package - Thursday, Friday and Saturday Concerts and Saturday Dinner are included in the spouse packet. See spouse package for details.
Can I bring my spouse?
Yes, there is a special spouse package. Please go to the
registration page for details. Only registered students may actually
attend classes. Spouse package does include jams and talent show
attendance, Thursday night concert, lunch on Friday & Saturday and the Concert/Dinner on Saturday night.
Can Guest come to the concert? Guests may
get Dinner/Concert Only tickets on a space available basis. It is $55
per person.There is a registration button on the registration page to
order your concert/dinner tickets.
Is there anything for my family to do in the area?
Bring the family! There's lot's do in Big D.
Galleria Shopping Mall, Grapevine Mills Mall, Six Flags Over Texas,
Dallas Museum of Fine Art, Sam Moon (the craziest shopping you’ve ever
done!)
